OZZI · GAME-MAKING GUIDE
Menus that make sense
Make starting, learning, and playing again feel obvious.
1 OF 3
Give Play a clear home
Show the game’s name, one sentence about the goal, and a prominent Play button. Put How to play nearby; keep instructions short enough to try immediately.
Try it
Open it fresh. Can someone find Play without asking you?
2 OF 3
Use OZZI’s player controls
OZZI provides Pause, Mute, and Fullscreen around the game. Connect gameplay and sound to those controls: action stops when paused, and all game audio respects mute.
Try it
Pause during an action, mute, then resume. Check that progress and sound behave correctly.
3 OF 3
Make the next step obvious
Make the next action clear: Play again after a round, or continue exploring or creating. Keep longer instructions behind How to play. Menus need clear labels, visible focus and usable controls.
Try it
Try the game’s start and return flow using its supported controls.
