At a glance
Your games and the rights you hold stay yours.
OZZI gets permission to host and share them with your chosen audience.
Respect others’ rights and keep what you publish suitable for the community.
1. Our agreement
OZZI is a place to play, make and share games. These Terms are an agreement between you and OZZI, Inc., a Delaware corporation operating in the United States ("OZZI," "we" or "us"). They cover OZZI.com, our game hosting, builder tools and related services.
By accepting these Terms when creating an account or otherwise using OZZI after being given notice of them, you agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines. Our Privacy Policy explains our data practices; accepting these Terms does not replace any separate privacy consent required by law. If you use OZZI for an organization, you must have authority to agree on its behalf.
2. Accounts and families
You can manage your own account from age 13, or a higher minimum age required where you live. If you are under 18, or have not reached the age of legal adulthood where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms with you and permit your use. Where verified parental approval is required, that approval must be completed before access is enabled.
Children below the independent-account age may use a parent-managed child profile where OZZI offers it and local law permits it. A parent must complete our notice and consent process first. A parent-managed profile does not override a local prohibition on accounts.
OZZI measures visits, game discovery and active play using its standard player services and first-party measurement. A recognition cookie expires 90 days after foreground use; historical observations remain independently of cookie expiry. Signed-in accounts and guest browsers are measured separately. Where Google advertising is offered, it is subject to the separate choices and restrictions explained in Privacy and Cookies; accepting these Terms does not grant advertising permission. Builders receive aggregate reports. A supervised child and their current guardian can view that child’s game activity as explained in the Privacy Policy; group statistics do not grant access to another studio’s worldwide audience.
A parent accepting these Terms agrees to supervise the child's use and manage the permissions they authorize. Managing a child's account does not transfer ownership of the child's creations. Schools and clubs cannot substitute for a parent through an ordinary group invitation.
3. Your account and tools
Give us accurate account and age information, protect your login, and tell [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. Use your own profile instead of sharing passwords.
You choose which coding agents and external tools to connect. Review their permissions and only authorize actions you intend. You remain responsible for uploads and changes you authorize, including those made by an agent. You can revoke OZZI access through your connections. External tools have their own terms, privacy practices and fees; connecting them does not make them OZZI employees or representatives.
4. Your games stay yours
You retain the rights you hold in your games and other content. Publishing on OZZI is non-exclusive: you can also publish elsewhere. Other people's assets, open-source code and OZZI's own software remain subject to their respective rights and licenses. Using AI does not guarantee that an output is original, exclusive or protected by copyright.
You give OZZI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, copy, run, deliver, display and technically adapt your uploads as needed to operate, secure and improve the service. Technical adaptations include compatible delivery formats and artwork previews. This permission follows your audience settings. We may let our service providers exercise it for us and transfer it with the service to a successor bound by these Terms.
For games you make public, this also lets us feature the game and use its title, studio name, cover, screenshots and short gameplay clips to promote that game and OZZI. It does not give us permission to sell your game separately, publish private source files, imply your endorsement of unrelated products, or train general-purpose AI models on your uploads.
Players receive permission to play and use sharing features as OZZI provides them. They do not receive ownership or a general right to copy, extract, repackage or republish your game. Any reuse license you offer separately still applies.
You can change a game's audience or request deletion. We stop new public distribution and new promotional uses when that content is withdrawn, allowing reasonable time for delivery caches to update. The license then continues only for limited retention described in our Privacy Policy, legal obligations and resolving disputes. We cannot recall copies others already lawfully received, but this does not authorize continued public hosting by OZZI.
5. What you publish
Before uploading, make sure you own the necessary rights or have a license or other lawful basis for the code, artwork, music, names, likenesses and other material you use. You must be able to grant the permissions above, honor attribution and license conditions, and pay any fees you owe to contributors or rights holders. Credit alone is not permission.
Inspiration, shared genres and common game mechanics are welcome. Copying protected work or presenting a game as someone else's official release is not. Review AI-generated work and third-party assets with the same care as anything else you publish.
Follow the Community Guidelines, describe your game honestly and use OZZI's supported interfaces. Do not collect players' personal information, install trackers, embed outside payments or bypass family and security controls. Keep your own copies of your work; a hosted release is not a substitute for your backup.
6. Keeping OZZI working well
We may review games, comments and other content and restrict a game, connection, feature or account when we reasonably believe it violates these Terms or the Community Guidelines, infringes rights, threatens safety or security, creates legal exposure, or must be restricted by law. Serious risks may require immediate action. We terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
We normally explain significant restrictions and how to appeal, unless doing so would compromise safety, an investigation or a legal obligation. Send an appeal to [email protected]. We consider context and corrections. You may not evade a restriction through another account or upload.
You can stop using OZZI at any time and request account closure at [email protected]. See the Privacy Policy for deletion and retention.
7. Copyright reports and replies
If your work appears on OZZI without authorization, send a copyright notice to [email protected], addressed to the OZZI Copyright Agent. Please include:
Your name, mailing address, telephone number and email, plus your physical or electronic signature.
The copyrighted work involved and the exact OZZI location of the material you want reviewed.
A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, their agent or the law.
A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the exclusive right involved.
We act promptly on valid notices and take reasonable steps to promptly notify the uploader when material is removed. If your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. Include your signature; name, address and phone number; the removed material and its former location; and a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith that the removal was a mistake or misidentification. Also state that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court where your address is located (or, outside the United States, a federal district where OZZI may be found) and will accept service of process from the reporting rights holder or their agent.
We forward a valid counter-notice to the reporting party. Material removed solely for that copyright complaint is restored between 10 and 14 business days after receipt unless we are notified of a court action seeking to prevent it. A separate safety or policy restriction can still apply. Notices and counter-notices, including contact details, may be shared with the other party to resolve the claim. Consider permission, licenses and lawful exceptions before submitting a notice.
Draft contact detail: the designated agent's business mailing address and telephone number will be added here before these Terms take effect.
8. Paid features
Publishing a game does not create a right to revenue, a guaranteed audience or an employment relationship with OZZI. If we offer paid access, subscriptions, advertising or builder payouts, we will explain the applicable price, revenue arrangement, cancellation and refund terms separately before you enroll. We will not charge you merely for agreeing to these Terms.
9. Service and game availability
OZZI and its builders may update or retire games and features. Beta features may change or be interrupted. We will give reasonable notice of a material reduction or closure when practical, and an opportunity to retrieve your uploaded work where lawful and feasible. Urgent security, safety and legal action may happen sooner.
To the extent the law permits, OZZI is provided "as is" and "as available," without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free games, preservation of every save or file, or the accuracy of builder claims. Reviewing or hosting a game does not mean we endorse it or certify its rights or safety. This does not reduce any service commitment we separately make or any mandatory consumer protection.
10. Limits on liability
To the extent permitted by law, OZZI and its officers, directors, employees and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, business opportunities or data arising from the service.
Our combined total liability for claims relating to OZZI or these Terms is limited to the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid OZZI for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits apply regardless of the legal theory of the claim.
These exclusions and limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability or rights the law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
11. Claims involving your content
If you are an adult builder or an organization, you agree, to the extent permitted by law, to defend and cover OZZI and its officers, directors, employees and agents against third-party claims alleging that content you submit or authorize infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy or other rights, or arising from your unlawful conduct or material breach of these Terms, including resulting losses and reasonable legal costs. This responsibility does not cover claims caused by OZZI's own wrongdoing.
We will notify you promptly, provide reasonable cooperation and let you participate in the defense. We may control the defense with reasonable counsel. Neither party may settle a claim in a way that admits fault or imposes a non-monetary obligation on the other without that party's consent, which must not be unreasonably withheld.
12. Resolving a disagreement
Contact [email protected] with the issue and the outcome you are seeking so we can try to resolve it. This does not delay urgent relief, legal deadlines or complaints to a regulator.
Georgia law governs these Terms, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Unless mandatory law gives you another right, disputes belong in the state courts in Fulton County, Georgia, or the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and you and OZZI consent to those courts' jurisdiction. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and right to bring claims in their home jurisdiction. These Terms do not require private arbitration.
13. Changes and contact
We will post updated Terms with their effective date and give reasonable advance notice of material changes through the service or email. Urgent legal or safety changes may take effect sooner. Where required, we will ask for renewed agreement. Changes apply prospectively. If you do not agree, you can stop using OZZI and request closure.
These Terms, the Community Guidelines and any separate terms you accept for a specific feature form our agreement about the service. If one provision cannot be enforced, the rest remain effective. Delaying enforcement does not waive a right. We may transfer this agreement with the business to a successor that assumes our obligations; your mandatory rights remain unchanged. Ownership, limited retained licenses, liability, third-party claims and dispute provisions survive closure to the extent needed for their stated purposes.
